Workshop 4 - Discovering the micro:bit

 

In this workshop you will discover how to use the Nezha Kit, one of the kits that is part of the equipment that will arrive at educational centers in Madrid this year. It will serve as an introduction to learn about this micro:bit complement that will allow you to develop STEAM projects in the classroom.

Contents

  • Understand how robotics works.

  • Know the different components that make up the kit: sensors and actuators.

  • Learn to program the Nezha kit through its extensions in MakeCode micro:bit.

  • Develop a small practical project: smart awning.

Carmela Salguero

Graduate in Pedagogy and specialist in Educational Robotics. With more than 7 years of experience in the field of training, both for children and teachers and in the development of training programs. She has also participated in official teacher training programmes in STEAM education. Curious from birth, she has just completed a Master's in Education and Technology to continue learning about the possibilities offered by the integration of ICT in the classroom.
